MURAL ARTS program

Call for walls, artists, & supply support

Public art has a significant and measurable positive impact on urban development and commerce. A study by the Los Angeles County Arts Commission found that for every dollar invested in a mural, the local community receives a return of $24 in increased economic activity. A study by the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program found that property values within one block of a mural increased by an average of 15% over two years. In addition to these economic benefits, murals have also been shown to increase community pride and civic engagement.

Red Lion is proud to showcase our local artists

and continue to grow our mural arts program!

How it works

Our team handles all project management, including contracts, payments, and scheduling, to make the process of commissioning and completing a mural as effortless and stress-free as possible.

WALL OWNERS

Have a wall? We want to partner with local businesses and property owners to

coordinate creative murals around town. Property owners fund the mural through a fully tax-deductible donation to Red Lion ROARS. (Ask how ROARS can split this cost!)

LOCAL ARTISTS

We work with a network of talented muralists and assist in the

initial concept development and estimation process.

SUPPLY SPONSORS

Mural costs will vary widely depending on the size, content, materials, and

any specialized equipment required, consider a tax-deductible donation

to further our mural arts program. â€‹â€‹â€‹
